Okay, so maybe I wasn’t listening real close when I heard the TV ad for Rod Stewart’s new CD Soulbook. I thought they said, “Rod Stewart’s new CD Sober.”
I mean that’s understandable right? With so many artists disintegrating into a stupor of alcohol and drugs, it’s a perfectly legitimate mistake.
Anyway, I’m just glad he quit butchering Standards. You shouldn’t be crooning with a voice like a rusty cement truck.
