Fractured fairy tales from a 50-something
Minneapolis got it’s favorite cherry back recently. I don’t know when it happened. I just drove past the Walker Arts Center and the Diva Drew screamed, “It’s back!”
I almost ran over a homeless person when she grabbed my arm. So I shot a quick glance and there it was in all its splendor. We pulled into the sculpture garden and jumped out of the car and ran over to make sure it wasn’t a mirage.
Sure enough. It’s really there. Minneapolis got its cherry back. Now can we go get some Raspberry Chocolate Chip ice cream at Sebastian Joes, for cryin’ out loud?
The best explanation I can think of is to listen to the Bob Wayne's Weblog theme song. Yes, that's right, I have a theme song (conveniently stolen from "What Do You Want From Life" by The Tubes). Enjoy and don't forget to tell me what you really think!Official Bob Wayne's Blog Theme Song
