Fractured fairy tales from a 50-something
Digital Artist Lisa Drew begins a two week show at Frank Stone Gallery this coming Thursday, November 13th. The opening reception is Friday, November 14th from 5-9pm.
Lisa’s work is dynamic, studied and energized. She has created everything from minimalist interpretations of stained glass to whisical stills of “dinos.”
Her stark black and white studies of modern architecture and bold renditions of the fluid passion of blown glass will also be on display.
There will be too much wine, plenty of great art, and musical entertainment provided by classical guitarist Wade Oden. Wade is currently working on his Doctorate in Music at the University of Minnesota so that should tell you the level of playing you will enjoy.
Remember, college students are poor so tip him well!
This is a fabulous night out for anyone who appreciates great art.
The best explanation I can think of is to listen to the Bob Wayne's Weblog theme song. Yes, that's right, I have a theme song (conveniently stolen from "What Do You Want From Life" by The Tubes). Enjoy and don't forget to tell me what you really think!Official Bob Wayne's Blog Theme Song

Thanks, Bob! I’m really looking forward to this event and hope to see a lot of people there. (subliminal message – buy art, buy art, buy art)
