Fractured fairy tales from a 50-something
Another sick and disgusting email discussion between my friends. So lets have a little looksee at what transpired… Share and Enjoy:
Yes, the Diva Drew (Lisa Drew) is once again enshrined in video. (She’s the one with the splash of silver in her hair.) This time performing with Consortium Carissimi in Surgamus, eamus from their Epiphany Concert 2010. Pretty cool stuff. Starts out with a nice violin duo. Share and Enjoy:
The Diva Drew left yesterday afternoon for Italy with the Rose Ensemble. They are performing at a two week choral festival outside Milan. Piggy, of course, went with her. That stupid pig gets to go everywhere. What about Bob?
The Diva Drew and I went to The Dakota Jazz Club last night and saw Manhattan Transfer perform for two hours from a vantage point about 30 feet from the stage…
Early American music including as Country Dances, Early American Carols, Kentucky Hill Song, Shaker Spiritual Songs, and Southern Harmony Hymns on the new Rose Ensemble CD can be downloaded here as mp3s.
The best explanation I can think of is to listen to the Bob Wayne's Weblog theme song. Yes, that's right, I have a theme song (conveniently stolen from "What Do You Want From Life" by The Tubes). Enjoy and don't forget to tell me what you really think!Official Bob Wayne's Blog Theme Song
